Sample Answer:
The admission at the University of Economics and Business was the recent happy event of my life. In fact, getting admission at the university is really tough. The selection process is extraordinary and if the applicant cannot pass and the get required marks, s/he is not contacted with for the viva and other procedures. So, I was happy with the matter. This is a lovely cue card and suits me the best. I will answer the remaining questions in brief.

I enjoyed the event based on some grounds. The most important matter to be happy was that I was the only girl of my family who is pursuing a higher education and at a reputed university. Though my academic results were not outstanding, I passed the written exams and also crossed the oral tests. Some of my college friends also applied for the university but they could not do well as like me. It made me different from them and it was a kind of reply of their ignorance to me in the college days.

It was the happiest event because I could not think of it. It was all on a sudden when I got a response from the university that I have been selected for the viva and there are chances to get admission in my desired course. My parents and relatives were happier than me. So, the event turned happiest for me as I was able to make them smile.

I applied for the university admission test last month and appeared on the exam. After around a week, I was asked to attend the oral interview after I contacted them when I got my admission test result. Finally, I got the chance to pursue my higher study in Economics in that university. And it was like my dream came true.

Part 3 - Two-way Discussion

Q.  What moments make other people happy?
Answer: Usually, when people get what they want, people become happy. But unluckily, the number of such moments are fewer in life. I general, a good news, any kind of achievement, the birth of a new baby, festivals cheer up people and make them happy.

Q.  What moments are happy for elderly?
Answer:
To me, it appears that when the elderly people come in a touch of their young generation or come to know about their success, they become happy. They get happy when they hear about someone's success. From my personal experience, I can say that a small gift and some praiseworthy remarks often make elderly people cheerful.

Q.  Are rich people happy? Why / Why not?
Answer:
Uhh… This is a tricky question. In fact, happiness is a state of mind. So, I think everything cannot be bought through money, sometimes you need to feel them. Therefore, this is not always granted that the rich people could be happy. They might be happy like the other ordinary people. No doubt money can buy luxury ingredients but cannot make some truly happy. Self-contentment, an honest heart, and peace of mind are far more important to be happy.

Q.  Describe some events that are widely celebrated in your country?

Q.  It is said that happiness can not be bought with money. Do you agre? Why/ Why not?

Q.  To be happy, we have to be satisfied with whatever we have? How far is thtrue? What's your personal opinion on that?
