Sample Answer 1:
The contemporary society is progressed pursuant to the changes that computers generate for citizens. One of the new trends it has created is the replacement of regular books with digitally printed counterparts. The following paragraphs will thus address some prospective outcomes that the publishing industry will encounter consequent to this situation and illustrate the writer's personal opinion.

It is expected that the concept of ordinary books will not completely collapse but its popularity will hinder significantly in the future. In fact, as is already case with the modern world, more people are choosing to buy E-books over tangible books. It is firstly much easier to be stored since one computer can hold thousands of virtual books. Secondly, the absence of distributional and publishing fees involved in making digital prints enable the selling price to be lower. Therefore, the convenient and cost-efficient aspects that digital books possess will eventually attract more users in the close future while leaving the pre-existing book industry in threat.

Personally, it is felt that the results of the above-mentioned prediction will preclude people from acknowledging the value of tangible books. For regular books, there is a limited labour capacity to supply the desired number of items to readers. This often requires them to wait for a few weeks or even months to obtain what they want to read. Although the wait can be dreadful, such a time span intensifies their appreciation towards the author and his hard work. However, with E-books which can be readily duplicated simply by copying and pasting, is unlikely to ever allow people to know how precious a book can be.

In conclusion, the aforementioned ideas clearly demonstrate how the ordinary book industry will be influenced by its counterparts produced online, and what the writer thinks of this trend.

Sample Answer 2:
Advancements in technology like the Internet have revolutionised our lives and we are getting more adapted to online services every day. Printed books are now being replaced with digital content which has opened an entirely new domain for its readers. This essay will analyse future of publishing industry and will provide an opinion after presenting arguments.

Online bookstores serve as an alternative to ordinary books which is laudable as this allows readers to have access to material whenever and where do want. This increasing trend will reduce the significance of traditional libraries that are known to host hundred and thousands of books. Another benefit of e-books is that they are easy to modify, edit and one can make countless copies of the material.

Digital books are easier to store and its availability is not affected due to distribution delays encountered after publishing and printing printed books. Electronic book repositories will not result in the collapse of publishing industry of physical books, but its popularity will be hindered significantly. Moreover, the price of the e-book is much lower than the normal book.

Furthermore, it will be possible to distribute them at large scale through online stores like Amazon and O'Reilly. In past, people have to wait for months before they get their hand on their favourite book. More people will adapt to e-books because they cannot be damaged or misplaced and its appreciators don't have to worry about their stacking or maintenance.

To conclude, the aforementioned arguments predict the future of e-books. In my opinion, this trend is plausible and it will turn libraries into online kiosks in near future.
