Model Answer:
Planet earth is filled with love, sorrows, sufferings, thrilling moments and adventures and so on. With the passage of the time, we are falling deep into our own world and have stopped thinking about our future and generations to follow. Few people believe that our present is of vital significance, others, however, argue that we should focus more on our future. This essay will analyse both views before presenting an opinion.

Without any doubt, our present is very important as things we plan, decisions we make and measures we take now have long-term benefits to our future generations. People believe that one should do efforts to make present time better and people should not worry about the future which no can predict to perfection. Efforts should be made to utilise the current time for the betterment of individuals and society as a whole. Moral lessons and virtuous deeds taught today will make our children valuable citizens in future. Moreover, present time quickly becomes the past and will not be repeated. People sometimes regret not enjoying a particular moment or event more as they were busy or distracted by other things at that time.

On the contrary, few people believe that we should plan for our future as it is vital for our survival. Proponents of this view point say that we should define policies and regulations to bring improvement in our core system including transportation, power distribution, air travel, housing and so on. These improvements will have significant value in future. For instance, efforts should be made to improve educational system at the grass root level so that we have more brilliant and talents students which will our future prospect. Our future not only depends on the measure and steps taken at the national level but we have to think and work on an individual basis to improve our future. Individuals should take part in community welfare service, for instance, they can take the responsibility to educate a child or provide employment to poor and needy people. These actions will make them better citizens who are the future of our society.

To recapitulate, the aforementioned provide plausible arguments in favour of both views. However, in my opinion, both present and future have equal importance as we reap in future what we sowed in the past.

Essay Topic: "Tomorrow is the most important thing in our life." However, some people think that the present time is more important. How important is it for individuals and the country to think and do something for the future?
What is your own opinion?

Essay Answer: Which part of life, today or tomorrow should get priority and considerations, is a moot issue. Some people support the view that ‘today's life, present time, is more important aspect and worrying about the future is a foolish attitude’, whereas, opponents of this view believe that for the betterment of the society, it is wise to think about the future and changes in the habits is needed as wise people plan and prepare for the future while fools enjoy the present. Same thought goes for a country as well – ‘whether the country should ensure a better tomorrow or focus on current needs?’ I believe mixture of both these thoughts is beneficial to the individual as well as the country.

Unanimously, we are living in the present, future is yet to come and so one group of thought believe that it is utterly a waste of time to worry about the imminent future. In addition, things are needlessly to happen as we frighten, sometimes miracles can also happen. For instance, there was scientific predictions that the world would end at the 21st century, fortunately nothing happened and all survived. Moreover over consciousness about the upcoming days might make us hesitant to enjoy the present time. Most of the people regret the past memories that they did not enjoyed. So people of this view point believe that every moment should be enjoyed without any future fears. Future is uncertain and to spoil the happiness of today for the betterment of tomorrow is a foolish act. For instance, if someone saves money by scarifying the joy he could have brought for others over the years should give a second thought whether he will be alive tomorrow or not.

On the other hand, people need to be conscious about their future while some actions taken today can deteriorate their future life. In fact our future relies on our present actions. For instance, fuel consumption has increased these days significantly and if people continue to use up the fuel as they do presently, it is expected to end in 2050. So we need to think for the alternative energy sources and that should be done today. Only hypocrites live for today without thinking for the next generation. What if we continue to contribute to the increasing global warming and do not think about the future? Our future generation will suffer to a great extent for the action we take today. Thus thinking and planning for the future is indeed important for every individual and government. Moreover, some of the actions have long term objectives and effects and they are fruitful only in the future. Today's enjoyments are the effort of the old generation. Today's works are making steps only for the future generations. So people should be vigilant about their actions with an outlook for the future.

In conclusion, I would like to quote a famous saying I read once: “plan the future and live the present.” Even though our actions should be future oriented, we should enjoy every moments of our present life.
