A glance at the table provided reveals the number of distances travelled by passengers on five kinds of vehicle in a European country over a-ten year period from 1995 to 2005 and its prediction in 2015. It is evident that there were decreases and increases in the number of kilometers over this period.
One particularly interesting fact by the figure is that from a mere 2 billion kilometers in 1995 to 8 billion, the scale of air transportation will be predicted soaring ten times than in the beginning of this period. The rail, meanwhile, rose gradually by 10 billion in 2005 and will have a prediction approximately 60 billion in 2015.
Furthermore, the kilometers of bicycle, motorbike, and bus experienced a slow decline, to somewhere in the vicinity of 1, 30, and 50 billion respectively in 2005, followed by double increase for both bicycle and motorbike in 2015. Bus kilometers, whereas, will fall to 42 billion.
