  3. Answer 2
Owing to the globalisation, it is indeed easy for all the countries to import goods from other nations. Hence, importing food from other countries is a very popular and common trade practice. It seems that as a whole, imported food may have higher drawbacks than benefits.

First, let us have a look at the benefits. Imported food can certainly offer a great range of variety in the receiving country. It is true that many varieties, for example, grains or dry fruits or spices, do not grow in all countries. However, they are common ingredients for exotic food recipes. Thus, in such cases, the food has to be brought from another country. Moreover, some healthy and economic food variants can certainly help the denizens a lot. Also, healthy and nutritious food options actually fall into the category of essential and have to be imported.

Now, let us assess the drawbacks of importing food items. Importing food items has certain disadvantages as well. To begin with, such imports always put pressure on the economy of the country as the valuable resources go to the supplying country. Next, such trades also make the people from the importing country be dependent on others. This can be harmful because when the price rises, people have to spend more money to buy the product they like the most. Furthermore, the people of the receiving country may develop a distance and detachment to their traditional cultural food items and this can be a serious social consequence of importing food.

Finally, looking at the advantages and disadvantages of importing foods, I believe that except essential food ingredients, countries should avoid importing food because it seems to have more cons than pros.

  4. The answer to topic 1- please guide if there is any error:

It is indeed true that many young people are living away from their parents when they opt out for some standard educational institutions which are located away from their hometown. This trend has emerged out some factors typical to an interconnected world where each node offers different services from the other.

There are several benefits of the situation. To begin with, certain academic courses are not available everywhere. Thus, students have to go to other cities where they can acquire education in the field of their choice. In addition, certain cities have developed a reputation as quality education providers. This also attracts students to those universities from across the world. Furthermore, after the campus placement, students get settled in various cities which are highly developed for certain type of industries. For example, if we talk about information technology in India, it is highly developed in the Southern part of India. Thus, to get a competitive work environment and a handsome salary package a computer engineer ought to settle in that region. So, this arrangement is almost essential for students and professionals who seek vertical growth in their careers.

On the other hand, there are certain drawbacks of staying away from home. Firstly, students who are away from home, often feel lonely. They lack the emotional support, love and care given by their parents and relatives. Secondly, youngsters have to be more responsible as there is no one who can guide them in all the important aspects of their life. Finally, their lifestyle gets disturbed as they have to eat outside and sometimes, the food is neither hygienic nor healthy.

To conclude, I assert that working or studying away from home and living in another city offers excellent growth opportunities. Therefore, I believe that this setup has more advantages compare to its disadvantages.

    • The very starting sentence you started with ‘indeed true’. Actually, indeed in the sense ‘true’. So you shouldn’t write true again. Kindly verify such type of errors.

  5. The answer to the 3rd topic:
(Please read and give your feedback. )

It is indeed a fact that the world is getting smaller and smarter with the help of technology and the need of the hour is not only the adequate qualification but also the ability to present ideas in a convincing manner and maintain good relationships in workplaces. In such a situation, social skills hold supreme importance and it will become more important in the coming future. Companies are doing nothing wrong if they give equal importance to social skills and qualifications.

There are abundant reasons why social skills are getting more and more important. Firstly, irrespective of the type of the industry, today’s corporate world is completely interdependent; that is, all workers have to rely on others in order to complete their tasks successfully. Here employees with good interpersonal skills come out as winners in most situations. Secondly, businesses today demand lots of communication amongst each other with higher management and with people connected to the company. Better group skills will enhance the functioning and will result in better efficacy of the organisation. Lastly, public skills are extremely important to establish our trusting client base and therefore there is no doubt that a person having good communicative skills performs better than other employees.

On the other hand, some might say that academic skills are extremely important and should be given top priority while hiring someone. They believe that it is the technical knowledge and qualifications that make someone eligible for a job. They also emphasise on the fact that people with sound academic background and work experience would be able to learn the social skills easily; which I do not agree with completely.

In conclusion, I fully agree with the notion that the current trend is shifting towards appointing people with greater social skills though the importance of educational qualification cannot be undermined. One without the other cannot deliver results.
