The IELTS Speaking test has 3 sections or parts: Part 1: Introduction & Interview, Part 2: Cue Card/Candidate Task Card, and Part 3: Detailed discussion/ Individual long run. This test takes 5 to 15 minutes to complete and consists of an interview with a trained examiner. The whole conversation is recorded for later evaluation. The assessment of an examinee/candidate is done twice (once by the examiner in the test room and later by another trained examiner). This is done for clarity and accurate assessment.
