The two maps compare the changes made to the road access to a city hospital between 2007 and 2010.
Overall, the area became significantly more organised and accessible by 2010, mainly due to the construction of new roundabouts, a dedicated public transport route, and expanded parking facilities.
In 2007, the hospital was accessible via a single main road connected to the city road in the south. A small car park was located to the east of the hospital road, which was a common parking area for both staff and visitors. Public transport access was limited, with bus stops positioned along the main road but without any formal structure to support traffic flow.
By 2010, the area had undergone some major improvements. A roundabout was built at the junction connecting the hospital road to the city road. Another roundabout appeared at the hospital entrance, linking the internal and external roads more effectively. In addition, a dedicated bus station was constructed on the south-west side of the hospital, which had separate lanes to connect with both roundabouts. Perhaps the most notable development was the reorganisation of parking. The previous parking area was transformed into a staff-only car park, and a separate visitor car park was constructed to the east, directly accessible via the new roundabout and ring roads. In both maps, ring roads surrounded the hospital and remained at the same location.
