The line graph displays the mean temperatures in three cities (namely: Paris, Dubai and Sydney) in different months of the year. Temperature is measured in degrees Celsius.
Overall, the weather pattern in Sydney is quite the opposite of Dubai and Paris. Furthermore, Paris is the coldest city among the three.
To begin with, the average temperature in Paris does not exceed 20 degrees Celsius. In contrast, Dubai seldom witnesses its temperature below this level, except for January (19 degree C). However, despite the striking differences, the temperatures in Paris and Dubai still show some similarities, as they rise continually from the beginning of the year to reach a peak in August. The highest temperatures in Paris and Dubai are 20 and 36 degrees, respectively. Afterwards, both cities became colder, and the temperature fell steadily. As can be seen, the differences in temperature between August and December in both Paris and Dubai are the same, whch is15 degrees Celsius.
Regarding Sydney, it witnesses 24 degree temperature in January on average. From there, the temperature drops continuously before going down to the lowest point of 14 degrees in July. The five remaining months see the temperature increase dramatically, to reach 23 degrees Celsius by the end of the year.

The line graph illustrates how the average monthly temperatures, measured in degrees Celsius, varied throughout the year in Paris, Dubai and Sydney.
Overall, Paris and Dubai experienced opposite seasonal trends, with Paris being significantly cooler in winter and Dubai much hotter in summer. Sydney’s pattern was distinct from both, with its coolest period occurring mid-year and warmer weather at the beginning and end of the year.
In detail, Paris has the lowest temperatures for most of the year, beginning at about 5 °C in January and rising steadily to around 20 °C by July and August, before declining again to about 5 °C in December. In contrast, Dubai displayed consistently high temperatures throughout the year. It started at roughly 19 °C in January, climbed sharply to a peak of around 37 °C in August, and then fell back to approximately 22 °C by December.
Sydney exhibited a different pattern compared with the other two cities. While it began the year relatively warm at approximately 24 °C in January, the city’s average temperatures gradually decreased to reach a low of about 14 °C in July. After this mid-year trough, Sydney’s temperatures rose again, ending the year close to 24 °C in December. When comparing the three cities, it is clear that Dubai was the warmest overall, recording its highest point in late summer, whereas Paris was the coolest, particularly in the winter months.

The average monthly temperature of three cities – Paris, Dubai and Sydney – is given in the bar graph, and the data compares how the temperature in these cities changes throughout the year. The temperature is measured in Celsius.
Overall, Dubai is the hottest and Paris is the coldest city among these three. Moreover, Dubai and Paris have a comparatively warmer climate between April and August, while an opposite trend is witnessed in Sydney, where the first two and last two months of the year have a higher temperature.
As the illustration suggests, the temperature in Sydney is roughly 25 degrees Celsius in January, which is the warmest month of the year there. At that time, the temperature in Dubai is just below 20-degrees, which is the coldest month of the year in this city. With a 5-degree centigrade, Paris at that time experienced the coldest month of the year.
The temperature in Sydney remains above 20-degree till mid-March, and then it keeps falling till July, when it has a nearly 13 degrees centigrade temperature, the coolest month in the year. Through the rest of the year, the temperature there steadily increases before reaching 23 degrees in December. Conversely, Paris’s temperature remains below 20-degrees throughout the year except in July and August. Paris seems like the coldest city among the three. Finally, the temperature in Dubai reaches as high as 36 degrees centigrade in August, and this city has a warmer climate from April to October.
