The diagram depicts the various stages involved in producing instant noodles, from the delivery of raw materials to the final packaging of the finished product.
In general, the process consists of a fully mechanised sequence with six main phases: mixing raw materials, preparing the dough, making noodle discs, cooking, drying, and finally, packaging the noodles.
The production of instant noodles begins when flour is transported from storage silos to a mixing machine. Here, it is combined with measured amounts of water and oil to form a consistent dough. This mixture then passes through a series of rollers that progressively flatten it into thin sheets. Then, they are cut into long noodle strands by a cutting machine and subsequently shaped into individual noodle discs. These discs are then cooked in oil, after which they are transferred to a drying chamber to remove excess moisture.
In the final stage, the dried noodles are placed into cups. At the same time, powdered flavouring and vegetables are added to them. The cups are then sealed before labels are applied, completing the manufacturing process of instant noodles.
