Model Answer 1:
Deciding on the favourite day of the week is not an easy task, especially, when you are always busy with one thing or another. But, I will still go ahead and try my best to talk about a particular day that I would consider my favourite.

Now, I am not sure many people would agree with me, but I consider “Friday” as my favourite day. For the most part, Friday is like any other weekday to me because, on this day also, I wake up early in the morning as usual and then take a little morning walk outside before coming back home and taking a shower. After the shower, I have a light breakfast as I don’t really like to feel too full in my stomach and sleepy before starting the workday.

By the way, I live a bit too far away from my work, so I have to wake up really early in order to beat the morning rush and traffic on the roads. After arriving at the office, I head straight to my own desk and start preparing the tasks list for the day after talking to my senior manager and other fellow workers, if needed. The work continues for about 5 long hours and stops at around 1:00 pm for a lunch break. After finishing lunch, I go back to work again and finish it at around 5:00 pm. Then, I hop onto a bus and go straight to my home. Anyway, while this day may seem like any other day, Fridays are a bit different for me because I feel more energized with anticipation of a great weekend ahead.

Friday is my favourite day of the week, primarily because I feel more energized and productive on this day by managing to finish my work rather quickly. Besides, this is the day when I get to prepare for a happy weekend without worrying about what might have gone wrong on other days of the week. After all, preparing for a great weekend is actually more fun to me than the actual acts of a weekend.

Model Answer 2:

Introduction:
Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about my favourite day of the week.

What day it is:
Well, my favourite day of the week is none other than Sunday!

What you usually do on that day:
On Sunday, I have off from classes and academic responsibilities. So on that day, I like to take it easy and indulge in activities that help me unwind and recharge for the week ahead.

How this day is different to you than other days of the week:
Sunday stands out from the rest of the week because it's a day of relaxation and leisure for me. Unlike the other days filled with lectures, assignments, and study sessions, Sunday offers me a much-needed break from the academic grind.

And explain why this is your favourite day of the week:
There are several reasons why Sunday is my favourite day of the week. Firstly, it allows me to catch up on much-needed sleep and rest after a busy week of classes and studying. I can wake up late, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and spend the morning lounging around in my pyjamas.

Additionally, Sunday gives me the opportunity to pursue activities that I enjoy but often don't have time for during the week. Whether it's reading a book for pleasure, going for a long walk in the park, or simply spending quality time with family and friends, Sundays are all about doing what makes me happy and rejuvenated.

So, Sunday holds a special place in my heart as it provides me with the perfect balance of relaxation, recreation, and self-care. It's a day that allows me to recharge both mentally and physically, making it my favourite day of the week.
