This section provides a complete review of the grammatical aspects needed for the IELTS test. It also contains helpful grammatical explanations and examples. Although grammar is not tested directly on the IELTS exam, it is tested indirectly in the speaking and writing sections of the exam. An IELTS candidate can gain or lose points based on his/her command of English grammar.
Therefore, we have listed and explained the basic grammar that you must get comfortable with in your speaking and writing exams to achieve a good band score. Perhaps you already know all those grammatical rules and uses and do not need to review them in detail, but we would nevertheless expect you to have a look. If you already know a rule and its use, skip the section. If you are unsure, please spend some time studying them and learn them.
