Model Answer 1:

This is a great topic to talk about, and I thank you for this opportunity to let me talk about a friend of mine whom I felt proud of. Here, I would like to talk about a time when I felt proud of my friend for his accomplishment. This incident happened a couple of months ago when my friend John received an award for his remarkable work in a national-level programming competition.

John is a brilliant computer science student and he has been participating in various programming contests for a long time. The competition he participated in was organized by a well-known tech company and it was held at the national level. John had been preparing for this competition for a few months and had put in a lot of hard work and effort to prepare himself for the contest.

When the results were announced, John secured the first position in the competition, and I was very proud of him. I congratulated him and felt proud of his dedication and hard work. I knew how much time and effort he had put into the preparation for the contest, and his victory was a reflection of his passion and dedication towards his field of study.

I don't get to meet John very often as we live in different cities and are busy with our respective careers, but we do keep in touch through social media and phone calls. I felt happy for him and I could see that he was thrilled and satisfied with his achievement.

I felt proud of this friend on this occasion because he is a good friend of mine and naturally I felt proud and happy with his success. I was delighted also because I knew that it was an important achievement for John and this would inspire him to do even better in his academic career.

Model Answer 2:

Ellina, my close friend, is a brilliant student who has always been passionate about pursuing higher education abroad. Last year, she applied to several universities in Canada, and I was ecstatic to learn that she had been accepted into one of the most prestigious universities in the country with a full scholarship. I felt incredibly proud of her and knew that it was a testament to her hard work and dedication.

Ellina and I have been friends for almost a decade, and during this time, I have seen her work tirelessly towards her goals. She is an excellent student, always willing to put in extra effort to achieve academic success. Despite the rigorous application process, Ellina never lost hope and remained positive throughout. She worked tirelessly on her application essays and managed to secure a scholarship that would cover all her tuition fees.

Although Ellina left the country to pursue her education, we still keep in touch regularly through video calls and social media. Whenever we speak, she tells me about the new things she is learning and the exciting experiences she is having. I feel immensely proud of her, and it gives me great joy to see her pursuing her dreams with such passion and dedication.

I felt extremely proud of my friend Ellina when she was accepted into a Canadian university with a full scholarship. Her hard work and dedication paid off, and it was a significant achievement for her. I feel blessed to have such an inspiring friend in my life, and I hope she continues to achieve great things in the future.
