Describe someone you really like to spend time with.
You should say:
- who this person is
- what you usually do together
- how often you spend time with this person
and explain why you like to spend time with this person.

Model Answer 1:
We all have our own favourite person who we like to spend our time with, regardless of our age, gender or type of relationship. As far as I am concerned, I like to spend my time with my mother – the soft-hearted and caring lady who carried me for almost ten months in her womb, and who has raised me for almost 21 years to help me become a real lady, by enduring all kinds of physical and mental agony.
So, once again, it is my loving mother with whom I like to spend as much time as possible, despite the fact she can’t always make herself available for me since she remains fairly busy with her housework. But, when she does have little time to spare for me, we, together, do things like watching some funny TV shows or baking some new kinds of cakes with our own recipes. Sometimes, we also go to a super shop together, which also happens to be one of my favourite things to do during the weekends, to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables. Last, but not least, we also like to read health and beauty-related articles in different newspapers and magazines whenever we get a chance.
By the way, we get to do these things mostly during the weekends and other holiday seasons because that’s when I don’t really have to worry about going to school or study-related tasks. And talking about my studies, she is so passionate about my education that she actually sits with me sometimes to see what I really study!
Now, if you ask me why I really like to spend my time with my dear mother, the answer is she makes me feel very well-protected and well-appreciated even when I tend to make mistakes. I like to spend my time with her also because she teaches me a lot of things about the “realities” of life as if she has the answer for everything no matter how tough the life or situation gets.

I like to believe that we all have someone with whom we like to spend our time. In my case, I have a very good friend with whom I love to spend my time. Thank you for this amazing topic that asks me to talk about this person.
Who this person is:
The person I really like to spend my time with is my childhood friend, Norman. We have known each other since we were in primary school, and our friendship has grown stronger over the years.
What you usually do together:
Norman and I have similar interests, and we usually spend our time doing things we both enjoy. We love playing video games, watching movies, going on outdoor trips, and trying out new restaurants and cafes in town. We also like to have deep conversations about life, our dreams, and future plans.
How often you spend time with this person:
We both have busy schedules, but we try to make time for each other at least once a week. Sometimes we meet more frequently, especially when we have a new video game or movie to try out.
And explain why you like to spend time with this person:
I like to spend time with Norman because he is a great listener, and I feel comfortable talking to him about anything. He is very supportive and always encourages me to pursue my dreams. He has a great sense of humour, and we always have a good laugh when we are together. I feel like I can be myself around him, and he has become more than just a friend; he is like family to me.
