Model Answer:

Dear Mr Victor,

I am excited to be a participant in the environment and disaster management training programme that you are organising next month in London. I have always wanted to enhance my skills on that and this is an excellent opportunity for me to do so. I noticed from a follow-up email that you are looking for volunteers for a social event and I offer myself for the role.

I have been involved in many voluntary works since my college days and have extensive experience in organising such events. In my office, I am often responsible to plan important events, coordinate with event management team, facilitate the guest lecturers and ensure conducting successful meetings. I enjoy playing such roles and I am quite confident I would be the right person for your social event as well.

I would, therefore, request you to send me more details regarding the training session and your plan for it so that I can start contributing right away. My participant ID is SEL-087 and you can check my profile before selecting me as an organiser.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks in advance.

Yours sincerely,

David Frank

Answer:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I feel fortunate to be a part of the training program in the UK. I am writing this letter to express my interest in the position of the social event organiser.

I would like to have few more information on the roles and responsibilities of an event organiser. I hope that I meet all the criteria and start working with you soon.

Let me explain my experience as an event organiser. I have three years' experience as a full-time event organiser in one of the famous sports club in Hyderabad, India. I have even received a letter of appreciation from my previous employer. I am aware of all the methods and responsibilities required to organise an event and make it successful. I will be a great asset if provided me with an opportunity. I have disclosed all these information in our college portal.

Awaiting your reply.

Thank you for the consideration.

Yours faithfully

Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing this letter with regards to the social events that will be held during our training programme in the UK. I am one the participants and I would like to express my interest to be the event organiser.

As soon as I heard about this opportunity, I became excited as it is one of my major interests in the workplace to be the event organiser. However, I need few more details about the events. I would really appreciate if you help me with those details like how many events you are going to have during the programme and how large are they? What would be the schedule of the events and how many organisers are you looking for?

At my workplace, most of the official and non-official events are arranged by me. According to my colleagues, I have an uncanny expertise of managing and conducting successful events, no matter how large they are.

I look forward to receiving your response soon.

Yours faithfully
