Parenting is perhaps the greatest and most sophisticated responsibility in our life, and mistakes and incorrect decisions made by parents can ruin a family as well as the future of a child. Since many young people become parents and the number of nuclear families is on the rise, many experts emphasize the importance of parenting courses for both fathers and mothers. I personally agree with this notion as I believe that such sessions would be immensely helpful.
To commence with, proper parenting requires a great deal of knowledge and dedication. Sometimes minor negligence and lack of knowledge can lead to catastrophic outcomes. For instance, if busy parents forget to vaccinate a newborn, that would jeopardize the offspring’s life. Similarly, many parents believe in silly superstitions that influence them to make bad choices. If those parents attend a course where experts share their opinions on different aspects of child fostering and proper parenting, they would be highly benefitted. For example, my cousin Paula, who became a mother a few months ago believed that her child had a problem with digestion and need medical attention. However, it was revealed that the way she fed her daughter was not correct. I believe that a suitable course that brings out different aspects of upbringing a child, both moral and practical aspects, would prove out to be important for newly become parents.
Moreover, the increasing trends of single parents and nuclear families lack the expert opinion of grandparents, unlike in the past. This is why the need for such parenting sessions is even more prevalent in modern times. Such sessions bring parents together, let them share their views, form a social relationship and help people learn aspects of their personal prejudices. This is a great way to educate the "to-be-parents", and "newly-become-parents" to learn more about the practical aspects of parenting. It also makes a better society, in a broader sense.
To conclude, being informed and educated parents is an important aspect to become good parents. Since parenting courses help people in a diverse way, it is indeed a good idea for people to participate in such courses.
Sample Answer 2: [Disagreement]
Raising a child is considered a beautiful experience by parents, but newly become parents often find it perplexing and challenging. Though some parents feel that training classes on parenting will help them nurture their children properly, I believe otherwise. This essay will argue why it is unnecessary to undergo parenting training sessions to properly nurture one’s children.
In today’s fast-growing world, parents believe that coaching on parenting and professional advice will help them responsibly raise their children. The reason parents feel the need for such courses is mainly because of the busy lifestyle and the growth of nuclear families. They neither talk to their parents and get advice nor are confident enough in their ability to look after their child. For instance, in India, certain institutions provide full-time classes on parenting and their demand is increasing. Distance from other senior members of the family is the main reason so many parents turn to such institutions nowadays.
However, being a parent is a natural and wonderful experience that does not require any training. As soon as a couple enters the phase of parenting, the ability to raise their child is naturally born in them. With the availability of online resources and quality content by professionals, parents can learn about responsibilities and duties online, whenever they need and on whatever issue, without spending money on a training course. It is just the confidence and willingness that are required and rest is attained gradually. Moreover, parenting needs are not the same for all, and thus a predefined course is insufficient for many couples. Courses will consider all expectant parents to have the same education level, economic condition and personality, which practically is not the case. Thus such courses may teach aspects that may further confuse young parents than help them while also costing them money.
To conclude, parenting ability is naturally inbuilt in every individual and one has to just figure that out with the help of online resources on an ad-hoc basis without spending money on courses that are designed for generic purposes.

Model Answer 3: [Agreement]
Parenting has become increasingly challenging and demanding in today's fast-paced world. While some parents may argue that attending a parenting training course is not necessary, I believe that it is crucial for all parents to participate in such courses.
To commence with, it is true that some parents may have a natural ability to raise their children and may not need to take a parenting course. For instance, parents who come from families with a strong support system and have had successful parenting models in their own upbringing may be able to effectively raise their children without additional guidance. However, such parents are the exception rather than the norm.
On the other hand, parenting courses can be highly beneficial for parents who may not have the necessary knowledge or skills to deal with the challenges of raising children in today's world. Such courses can provide parents with practical and evidence-based strategies for dealing with issues such as discipline, communication, and emotional regulation. Additionally, parenting courses can help parents understand their children's developmental stages and needs, which can lead to better outcomes for children in terms of social, emotional, and academic development.
Furthermore, attending a parenting course can also help parents build a support network and connect with other parents who may be experiencing similar challenges. This can provide a sense of community and reduce feelings of isolation and stress, which can often arise from the demands of parenting.
In conclusion, while some parents may not require additional guidance in raising their children, I strongly believe that parenting courses are necessary for all parents. Such courses can equip parents with the necessary knowledge and skills to deal with the challenges of parenting and provide them with a support network to help navigate the journey of raising children.
Sample Answer 4: [Disagreement]
While parenting courses can certainly be helpful for some parents, I do not believe that they are necessary for everyone. There are a variety of factors that can influence a child's upbringing, and not all of them can be addressed through a standardized training course.
Firstly, some parents may have extensive experience in childcare, whether through their own upbringing or through previous work with children. For these parents, a parenting course may be redundant and provide no new information. In addition, parenting styles can vary widely between cultures and families, and a one-size-fits-all training course may not be suitable for every situation.
Moreover, while parenting courses can provide valuable information on child development and behaviour, they do not necessarily prepare parents for the specific challenges and complexities of their own children's lives. Each child is unique, and parents may need to adapt their parenting style accordingly. In some cases, this may require seeking individualized support and guidance rather than relying solely on a general training course.
Finally, mandatory parenting courses could also be viewed as an infringement on individual freedom and parenting autonomy. It is ultimately up to parents to decide how they want to raise their children, and not all parents may agree with the philosophy or approach advocated by a particular course.
In conclusion, while parenting courses can be helpful for some parents, they should not be seen as a necessary requirement for all. There are a variety of factors that can influence a child's upbringing, and each family should have the freedom to choose their own approach to parenting.

Parenting these days has become very challenging and to overcome such challenges many couples who are expecting babies have started opting for parenting classes. Some feel these classes are not beneficial in any way and it does not help individuals to become any better parents. However, in my opinion, these parenting classes definitely help one to become better parents.
Every parent does their best to raise their children, and none of the parents would compromise in any way when it comes to their own child. But, with the globalization and changing trends, I feel, parenting rules have also changed. It is very important to understand child-psychology to raise a good human being. Life these days has become so competitive that most of the parents do not have enough time to spend with their children or to understand their psychology. In modern times, it is believed that even children as young as 6months suffer from psychological issues like anxiety and depression. To overcome such problems we have to understand its root causes first and that's exactly where these parenting training centres come in. They educate parents on how to understand child-psychology and in turn, help their children to solve their problems. They also enlighten them about the healthy diet which their child should be given, as obesity among children is becoming one of the major problems these days.
Besides, these training centres also teach parents how to use various tools and technologies as an aid, for better upbringing of a child and how to act to children in different situations. Nowadays so many new interactive tools have come in the market which can help and parents should know about them. Finally, these training centres bring many parents together where they share their experience and advice with each other which, in my opinion, have a greater impact on our parenthood.
In conclusion, parents can rip benefits from a good parenting training centre and I believe in this modern era where we are so busy and look world and parenthood from a different perspective should advantage of such programmes.
