Primarily, economic constraints and limited employment opportunities often compel individuals to prioritize financial stability over job satisfaction. For example, in regions facing high unemployment rates or low wages, individuals may feel compelled to accept any available job, regardless of its alignment with personal interests or career aspirations. This compromises their ability to seek roles that offer intrinsic fulfilment or align with their skills and passions. It is not uncommon for engineering graduates to take jobs in insurance companies, for instance, which emphasizes how job scarcity in such regions can force people to take up jobs that offer minimum job satisfaction.

Despite being considered a luxury, job satisfaction holds paramount importance in any work environment.
