Model Answer 1:
Thank you very much for this interesting topic. Actually, I have a couple of expensive activities that I like ot try from time to time, but I can’t manage to pursue them all on a regular basis. Obviously, it is because they are more “expensive” than I can afford. However, there is one activity that I enjoy doing occasionally, and today, I will go ahead and talk about that.
Now, I am not too sure how many people consider “driving a fast sports car”, an expensive activity, but it certainly is for me because I have to rent one, and trust me, where I live, renting just a normal passenger car can cost you a fortune, let alone a fast sports car. On top of that, they can become even more expensive if you rent them on the weekends or any other holiday season, obviously because more people rent them during those times. Besides, adding the cost of “buying a car insurance” and “fuel” (yes, fast sports cars usually consume a lot more fuel than the regular 4-door sedans) to the cost of renting a fast sports car actually puts a huge “dent” in your pocket.
But, of course, none of these costs really prevents me from renting a fast sports car once in a while and visiting an interesting place with my friends and family members. By the way, when the rental cost becomes a bit too high for my liking, my friends sometimes are kind enough to share the cost with me, which does lessen the burden on me a little.
Anyway, no matter the cost, I enjoy this expensive activity, mainly because it allows me to feel the adventure and thrills of being fast on the road, like an unstoppable jaguar marching forward furiously and yet so silently. Besides, it also allows me to spend some quality time with my friends and family members away from the crowds and tedium of daily life.
