Model Answer 1:

I must admit that I haven’t really learnt that many skills in my life which are actually worth teaching to anybody. Besides, even if I knew those skills, I just wouldn’t be able to teach them properly because my teaching ability is very mediocre at best. Still, I will try to talk about a skill which I think is good to learn for everybody, especially if we want to learn how to become patient!

Moving forward, the skill I want to talk about is “fishing”. Now, I understand that many people like to associate the act of fishing with “having sheer luck”, but they do so mainly because they just don’t understand the “arts and science” of fishing. In other words, fishing is actually a skill, and a great one in that too, to learn since it doesn’t only allow someone to enjoy eating fresh fish, a great source of healthy protein, but also teaches someone how to “focus” and remain patient at the same time.

Anyway, I became interested in learning this particular skill during my early childhood when I found that one of my elder cousins was able to catch dozens of fish within a relatively short period of time, while others sitting and waiting for hours couldn’t even fetch even one! In fact, soon after that, I began to realise a number of important factors from choosing a good fishing spot to learning about the types/sizes of fish one is targeting to setting the hook properly.

Of course, I can’t teach this particular skill just by handing over a “fishing manual” to anybody, but I would also need to take him or her to a useful fishing site in order to guide him/her step by step.

So, will this fishing skill help anyone? Well, it sure would because it would teach somebody to become and remain utmost patient – a personal trait which we all seek in us. Besides, it would also allow someone to enjoy Mother Nature, away from the normal crowd and noise of our life.

Model Answer 2:

Introduction:
I believe that one valuable skill that I possess and am eager to share is photography, an art form that not only captures moments but also encourages creativity and a unique perspective on the world.

What type of skill it is:
Photography is a skill that goes beyond the technical aspects of handling a camera. It involves understanding composition, playing with light, and interpreting the emotions or stories behind every image.

How you learned it:
I embarked on my photographic journey years ago, initially learning the basics through online tutorials, and books, and experimenting with my camera. Over time, I attended workshops, engaged in practical shoots, and learned from seasoned photographers who graciously shared their insights.

How you plan to teach it to others:
To pass on this skill, I plan to organise small, interactive workshops where participants can learn not only the technicalities but also the artistry of photography. Hands-on experiences, critiques, and thematic shoots will be integral parts of the learning process.

And explain how this skill can help them:
Mastering photography can be transformative. Beyond the ability to capture beautiful images, it nurtures patience, attention to detail, and a heightened awareness of one's surroundings. In today's visually driven world, possessing photography skills is advantageous both personally and professionally. It enhances self-expression, and documentation of special moments, and even opens doors to potential career opportunities in fields like journalism, advertising, or social media influencing.

This skill can help others be more productive, reduce stress, and have more time for personal and professional activities.

I have a passion for drawing and sketching, which I learned through classes and self-practice. To teach others, I would begin with simple techniques such as basic shapes, shading, and sketching from real-life objects. This skill can help others express their creativity, relieve stress through art, and develop a new hobby or potential career path in visual arts.

8. Digital marketing skills:
I possess digital marketing skills, which I gained through experience and online courses.
