Part One - Introduction
Let’s talk about your country.
Q. What is the area where you live like?
Q. Have you always lived in the same part of the country? Why/Why not? Do many visitors travel to your country?
Q. What do visitors to your country like to see and do?
Now let’s talk about food.
Q. What is your favourite type of food? Why?
Q. Do you prefer eating at home or in a restaurant? Why/Why not?
Q. When was the first time you cooked something yourself? What?
Q. How happy are you to try eating new things? Why?
Part 2 - Cue Card
[The topic for your talk will be written on a card which the examiner will hand you. Read it carefully and then make some brief notes.]
Describe a present that someone gave you which you liked a lot.
You should say:
- what the present was
- who gave it to you
- why the person gave you a present
and explain why you liked that present a lot.
[ You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes. You have one minute to think about what you’re going to say. You can make some notes to help you if you wish.]
