Cheese Production in the USA
Sample Answer 1:
The pie chart shows a comparison data on cheese production in the USA. As is obvious, Cheddar and Mozzarella brands are two leading cheese makers in the United States.
According to the given illustration, Cheddar manufactures more than one-third of the total cheese in the US market while the second position in terms of cheese production is held by Mozzarella, which is an Italian cheese manufacturer. The latter makes slightly over 30% of all cheese in the USA. All other US cheese manufacturers supply just over 8 percent of cheese demands while a similar proportion of cheese is produced by other Italian cheese makers. Swiss cheese makers supply the lowest proportion of cheese in the USA which accounts for marginally less than 3% of the total. Finally, all other cheese producers cumulatively make just over 13% of the demand.
In summary, US cheese production is led by two companies – Cheddar and Mozzarella, and all other manufacturers have around a quarter production share in the US market.
Sample Answer 2:
The pie chart shows cheese production shares in the US market by different manufacturers. Overall, two prominent brands dominate almost two-third of the US cheese production and one of these two in an Italian company.
As can be seen in the pie chart, Cheddar cheese is the single most produced cheese in America with its relative share over one-third of the total. This is closely followed by an Italian manufacturer, Mozzarella, whose relative production share is just over 30%. Other Italian and Swiss cheese producers are present in the US cheese manufacturing but their cheese making share is not significant. They produce around one-tenth of the total cheese. The least percentage of cheese is produced by Swizz companies. A similar percentage of cheese making, 8.8% to be precise, is controlled by other American brands. The remaining manufacturers, marked as ‘all others’, produce around 13% cheese in the US market.
In short, Cheddar produces the highest percentage of cheese in the US market followed by an Italian brand – Mozzarella.
