Part 3 - Details Discussion:

Q. 1. Do you have any goal in life? What is it?
Answer: Yes, as a student, I have two goals that I want to achieve in the future. One goal is a short-term goal and the other goal, of course, is a long-term. My short term goal is to pursue higher education in Canada, preferably, with a full-time scholarship or some sort of tuition assistance. My long-term goal is to work really hard and save enough money in order to travel around the world so that I can understand and appreciate all the beautiful cultures, customs and traditions of our fellow human beings.

Q. 2. What do you think you will be doing after ten years from now?
Answer: Future is unpredictable and so is life. But, that certainly doesn’t prevent me from planning my future years in the best possible ways. Anyway, talking about what I will be doing after ten years from now, I most likely will be teaching computer engineering at a top-tier university of the world while also doing some research works in Nano technology. Besides, after 10 years from now, I also want to be able to get married and raise some children in a happy family environment.

Q. 3. What changes do you think you have witnessed in your country in the last ten years?
Answer: Time changes and so do the people with it. I have indeed witnessed a number of changes in my country over the last 10 years that have been both positive and negative. Talking about the positive changes, people in general have become more affluent with greater access to better education and healthcare facilities. And as far as negative changes are concerned, people have become more corrupted and morally bankrupted than ever before. Other negative changes include very limited, if any at all, contact among the family members and friends, and environmental degradation.

Q. 4. What is one important aspect of yourself that you believe everybody should have?
Answer: I would rather have others to judge me for who I really am.  Besides, I am actually simple person with simple thoughts and lifestyle, so naturally, I think that I have a very few important aspect of myself that everybody should have.  But, in order to do some justice to this question, I would say that I like to learn (hoping that “learning” is an important aspect of a person) about different cultures and customs from different people around the world. I consider this aspect to be important, mainly because it limits, or sometimes even eliminates, the misunderstandings and animosities among different people and enlighten their minds.

Q. 5. If you can change one thing about yourself, what that would be.
Answer: To speak frankly, I would like to change a number of frustrating things about myself because I am, by no means, a perfect person. In fact, I have already tried many times to get rid of those things, but so far, have had very little success. But, one thing that I would really like to change about myself is my “laziness”. Yes, I can be seriously lazy at times which does often come in my way when trying to become a more productive person, both personally and professionally.

Q. 6. How do you define success? Do you consider yourself successful so far?
Answer: Many people would define “success” with different kinds of opinions and “success” parameters, but as far as I am concerned, I define success as a way to remain positive and happy all the way, no matter how unpleasant and unfavourable the conditions are. After all, life is full of struggles for the most part and only positive outlook can help us in these struggles. Now, do I manage to keep that positive outlook in my life? The answer is “yes” for the most part, and so, from that point of view, I think that I am successful person so far.
