Sample Answer 1:
Dear Amy Horner,
I am a huge fan of your music and writing to congratulate you on a brilliant performance at the City Emporium yesterday evening which I am sure everyone enjoyed to the fullest. It was simply breathtaking and electrifying to me and my friends, who were also present at the concert. I have always dreamt of seeing your performance live and yesterday was one of the best days of my life to have the chance for the first time.
I am an aspiring musician, and I started playing the electric guitar and drums at a very tender age of 9. I can also play the flute besides composing a few songs for the band I am involved in. In fact, I have been a member of a local music band called "Window of Dreams" for the last six years, and we primarily focus on playing pop and rock music. You have always been my idol as a musician and songwriter.
I am sure you are terribly busy, but I am really hoping that you would share some tips and provide some mentorship to help me do better in music. I would really appreciate it if you can spare some of your precious time to guide me which will eventually be a great help for me to further enhance my skills and boost my confidence.
Thank you very much for your contributions to the music world.
Model Answer 2:
Dear Kim Lee,
I have recently attended one of your music concerts and I simply loved it. All of your fellow artists performed really well, but I would like to say that your performance stood out among other performers.
I just wanted to let you know that I have never really seen any singer sing at such ease while also playing one of the most difficult guitars called “flamenco”. Besides, I also like that little fuzzy tone in your voice which perfectly blends with your singing style. Finally, I also enjoyed your musical clarity and musical intensity until the end which is not really seen among many rock music artists.
Anyway, I like to sing typical rock songs with the help of electric guitars, and I never seem to be able to achieve the desired musical pitch and tempo, which I would like to have in my music. I have even tried bass guitars, but I don’t exactly see any visible changes in my musical pitch and tempo. So, if you share some of your valuable experience in using electric and bass guitars while singing soft rock songs, I would highly appreciate it.
I am writing this letter in regards to the concert which was held last week in Toronto city. While the entire concert was sizzling, I liked your way of singing and in particular, your voice control over high pitched songs.
Let me explain in detail my music-related activities and why I was so attracted to your voice and singing style. Firstly, I am a music student, studying Jazz and voice control at Western University. Additionally, I go to different concerts with my friends and colleagues to enjoy and analyze in detail concerning the voice control of each person so that we can learn from them. After this, we take notes and study for our future endeavours.
Since I am a student, I would like your help in the research study of my voice controlling techniques. Moreover, getting your advice might help me in my unexplored studies too. As you are a very popular person, studying your voice will be much useful for everyone.
Thank you for your consideration and I hope that I will get a positive reply from you soon.

Dear Thomas Moore,
My name is Nick Smith and I am a music student at a college. I am writing to congratulate you for your wonderful performance at the town hall in Auckland city.
Although I have heard many other singers singing the song “Another World”, you have sung it exceptionally well, which touched my heart. Your voice is very pleasing and soothing to the ears.
I have a passion for music since my early childhood. Therefore, I decided to study music to pursue a career in music. These days, I perform for a local club on Friday and Saturday evenings and participate in inter-college cultural activities.
I would be grateful if you share some tips to create original music. I have attached a few sample recordings of my own compositions and your feedback on these will truly mean a lot to me.
I look forward to receiving your kind response.
